WPDG SPIRAL TWIN TOWERS
Proposition for Abu Dhabi
A combined structure of high resistance concrete and steel comprises the core of each tower, around which the floors are spiraling in a way that allows for the vertical continuity of the bearing elements. Simultaneously the spiraling overlapping offset of the floors creates two large terraces per floor of about 28 M2 each.
The raised central sphere of 50 m in diameter contains, Administration offices, a circular auditorium of 2100 seats, Bars and Restaurants and in the upper section a multi purpose hall.
The surrounding area includes an artificial lake, which enhances the aesthetics and provides additional security to the establishment.
The Towers require a minimum plot area of 30.000 m2.
